Variety Content Studio’s ‘Notes to My Younger Self’ Series Nominated for Digiday Video and TV Award

Variety Content Studio’s “Notes to My Younger Self” video series produced in partnership with the American Heart Association has been nominated for a Digiday Video and TV Award.

The series features notable actors and media personalities including Josh Peck, Amber Riley, Karamo Brown and Alyssa Milano discussing tips for avoiding stress and guidance that they would like to have passed on to their younger selves if given the chance. “Notes to My Younger Self” was published last year in six installments from June through December.

“Notes to My Younger Self” was nominated in the Best Brand Film — Series category. Other contenders in the category are branded content projects produced by:

The Digiday Video and TV Awards winners will be revealed April 16. Digiday is a media brand that focuses on the business of digital content, advertising and marketing.

“Notes to My Younger Self” was executive produced by Variety Content Studio’s Sydney Kramer and Andrew Hampp. Variety‘s Lauren Ames, Karen Mizoguchi and Tania Merlos served as producers on the series.

In each installment, the featured star is presented with photos of themselves at different ages. Each photo is discussed in detail as to what their life was like at that time, how stress manifested in their body and mind and how they dealt with stress. At the end of each interview, a new photo is taken to kick off the next stage of their stress management and heart health journey.
