And just like that, “RuPaul’s Drag Race” will sashay away just as quickly as it came. Before its finale next week, the reality competition series will host a reunion episode to broadcast on MTV on Friday, Apr. 12.

During the reunion, according to the episode’s logline, all of the eliminated queens will return to battle it out in a LipSync Lalaparuza Smackdown, with nine lip syncs and the opportunity to win $50,000 in a cash prize. Next week, we’ll see which of the remaining drag queens will win the the $200,000 grand prize and the title of America’s next drag superstar.

If you don’t have MTV, you can still catch the finale live on DirecTV Stream, Philo and Sling TV — which all offer free trials. MTV is also available on Hulu + Live TV and Fubo TV.

While MTV isn’t available in every country, you can still stream the season finale if you’re outside of the U.S thanks to a variety of VPNs, which allow users to legally sign into another countries’ services. The best deal is on ExpressVPN, which boasts an easy installation process and affordable monthly subscription cost. Plus, they’re currently offering a 30-day free trial.

The two-part series premiere, which featured a new segment called “Rate-A-Queen,” debuted to the best TV share of any premiere in the franchise’s history. This follows Season 15 closing out to the highest-rated season of the show in three years, a spike that can be largely credited with its switch from VH1 to MTV after its 14th season.

The “Drag Race” franchise accumulated nine Emmy nominations during the 2023 season. The nominations, including those for outstanding reality competition program and outstanding casting for a reality program, make “Drag Race” the most nominated reality program of the year.
